Israel Update
As you will know, on Saturday 7th October, Hamas launched a military offensive against Israel – bombing, shooting, and taking hostages. Many have been killed in the attacks and the violence is ongoing. The war is not only affecting the Jewish people we are reaching in Israel, but also the Jewish people we are ministering to all over the world.
Our missionaries in Israel and their families are so far safe. We are closely monitoring the situation with them as things progress.
There is so much to pray about and we are so grateful for you standing with us. Please allow me to offer you some ways you can pray for us in this situation.
That God would bring a quick end to this awful war in Israel.
That God would protect our missionaries and their families.
That God would open the hearts of those they are ministering to in the light of the horrific loss of life, and that many will come to know God's salvation in Jesus.
That God would comfort all those who are mourning the loss of a loved one through this war.
That God would give wisdom and boldness to our missionaries as they continue to share the gospel with Jewish people in such difficult circumstances.
That God would help Christians to avoid feelings of bitterness, anger and hatred. That he would renew the Church’s commitment to sharing the love of God in Jesus to both Jewish and Arab peoples as the only remedy to the sinful human heart and the evil attitudes and acts that flow from it.
