SHARING JESUS ACROSS
THE WORLD
AUSTRALIA &
NEW ZEALAND
There are an estimated 50,000 Jewish people in New South Wales out of an Australian Jewish population of 120,000. This is the Jewish community with whom our husband and wife missionary couple are sharing the Good News about Jesus .
Our missionaries in New Zealand run Hatikvah, Hebrew for "the Hope", New Zealand’s only Christian school of Jewish studies. Hatikvah was established in 1983 to help Christians whose ‘heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved’.
UNITED KINGDOM
The UK is home to just under 300,000 Jewish people. Our UK-based missionaries reach out through book tables, one-to-one evangelism and Jewish festival outreaches.
We currently have two missionaries reaching out to London's 185,000 strong Jewish community through door-to-door ministry, one-to-one evangelism and street outreach. Our London-based missionaries are also involved in large outreaches to Jewish people involved in New Age practices.
We also have a missionary based in Leeds and another in Glasgow who reach out to their own local Jewish communities through Jewish festival outreaches, Hebrew classes and one-to-one evangelism.
EUROPE
We have three missionaries and three mission associates (volunteer missionaries involved in full-time pastoral ministry) sharing Jesus with Jewish people across Europe.
France: Jesus is shared with France's large but increasingly marginalised Jewish communities through our missionary in Paris (home to around 250,000 Jewish people) and our mission associate in Lyon.
The Netherlands: Our worker in the Netherlands (estimated Jewish population around 30,000) is the first full-time Jewish missionary based there since the Holocaust. Despite a large Jewish community and a history of established Jewish mission work prior to the Second World War, work among the Jewish people there has been almost non-existent for the past seventy years until our worker joined us at the end of 2015.
Hungary & Bulgaria: Home to some of Eastern Europe's oldest Jewish communities, our Hungarian missionary and two mission associates in Hungary and Bulgaria (combined Jewish population around 53,500) reach out to Jewish locals with the message of Jesus.
Ukraine: Our two experienced missionaries based in Odessa are reaching out to those living among the city’s 45,000 strong Jewish community. They tell Jewish people about Jesus through Jewish festival outreaches and one-to-one personal evangelism. Due to the war they are taking refuge in Moldova.
ISRAEL
We have three missionaries working in Israel, two in the Tel Aviv area and one in Jerusalem. They share the gospel both in person through street outreaches and one-to-one contact, in particular reaching out to homeless addicts in Tel Aviv and Holocaust survivors from across Israel.
UNITED STATES
Home to around 5.7 million Jewish people nationally, we are reaching out to Jewish people in Boston with the Good News about Jesus.
Our missionary is based in the Boston area. He is involved in street outreach and one-to-one evangelism, making Jesus known to his local Jewish community and beyond.
BRAZIL
Brazil has one of the largest Jewish communities in the world with an estimated population of 120,000 Jewish people, although actual figures are believed to be higher.
Rio de Janeiro, where our missionary is based, is home to an estimated 35,000 Jewish people. At present there are no other known missionaries reaching out to this large Jewish community.
ASIA
Our Hong Kong office raises support and awareness for Jewish mission in churches in the Far East and seeks to reach both Jewish visitors and local Jewish residents. They promote the vision of Jewish mission amongst churches and Christian fellowships in Hong Kong and organises many seminars and rallies each year.
Our Korea office also works to raise the profile of Jewish mission among Korean churches and are raising up missionaries to reach Jewish people globally.
